Beautiful day in Vancouver...mid 70s & Tana's luggage has arrived! God is good. We spent the day on a city tour & a visit to The Capilano suspension bridge park. China Town, Granville Island, The Lions Gate bridge & Stanley Park were the highlights.
Stanley Park is a 1000 acre park which includes the aquarium, rose garden, totem poles & we saw spectacular scenery. Stanley Park was designed by the same architect who designed New Yorks Central Park & named after the same Stanley who gave hockey The Stanley Cup.
The Capilano Suspension bridge is 450 feet long & 230 feet high above the river below. Crossing the bridge was thrilling with swaying canyon views & breathtaking lookouts. Pure Nature!
We also had a heart racing view on the Cliffwalk & strolled through the rainforest that holds trees that have stood here for over 1000 years. Amazing!
Our day in Vancouver ended with a stroll down Robson Street and a delightful dinner at Joe Fortes resturant.
Vancouver is truly beautiful.
