Well the reality is starting to sink in. Only a week to go until we disappear off around the world. Tickets, passports (the Greeks among you will know how painful organising those can be!), house sale completes on Tuesday - so barring any last minute problems we should be winging our way to Cape Town on the night of the 8th...so watch this space.

Had some impromptu drinks last night - not sure what kind of party it was, maybe a 'house-cooling'? The weather was foul, but 15 or so of our London friends braved the weather to help us see the house off with a few bottles of great champagne. The only thing I'm not going to miss about London is the weather in winter! Oh and the tube. But you know what I mean :-). We went on till about 3-ish, which was probably longer than absolutely necessary, but we've now got a weekend of packing ahead of us.
