hello everyone. hope you are all well. we are good here. had a great week and a bit since we last left a message. sydney was cool, its a bit strange being stood outside something like the sydney opera house that is so famous. ( and a bit of a strange building anyway) we also walked along the harbour bridge, went to the botanical garden and saw hundreds of flying foxes ( huge fruit bats) caught the ferry to manly, which is also a sneaky way of going on a cruise and seeing the opera house etc for mega cheap!! so then it was off to the blue mountains. which was beautiful. unfortunately not as well sign posted for cars or walks but worth seeing worth going on the steepest railway in the world too ( more like a rollercoaster!!)

we then headed north of sydney to putty beach which was also gorgeous. we stayed a few days just relaxing and making the most out of a beach that you can swim on. although we did have a bit of a fright when we ended up swimming with some kind of ray. law was out of the water like a shot!! also stopped off at a waterfall and saw a dragon!!! a water dragon that is but he was well cool.

next it was forster, which is part of the great lakes conected to the sea by a small enterance which is great for spotting dolphins. they are so funny to we would sit and watch them surfing the waves and jumping they have a real sense of humour. we could also look of jetty's into the water and spot loads of fish and crabs. so cool. unfortunately our car broke down ( don't think it wanted us to leave) but managed to get it fixed was only a dead battery.

so onto armidale which is a bit inland where we went looking at lots of waterfall and a stunning gorge. more like scenery from new zealand than how you'd think australia would be.

phew...so then we arrived at crofts bay for a relax!! had a look around but spent most of our time going down the slides at the pool on site!!! making the most of the peace and quiet before tash gets here next week (ha ha)
