Blogdate 23/03/11 wed early morning.
Sat in danang airport awaiting flight to Saigon then connecting flight to Bangkok . One night in Bangkok as the song goes then night train to chiang mai (not Georgia ). So thoughts on Vietnam ;
Hard to get off tourist route, because transport difficult. Buses old cramped, night bus from Dalat to Hoi An dirty, infested with roaches, toilet stop the side of the road in the dark, no leg space, shall I go on. Did not try train as was expensive and decided to fly back to Saigon and spend last 4 weeks in north Thailand and hopefully do somemore teaching. Also weather in the north not so good at the mo snow in Sapa. Would have liked trekking in the mountains but don't think would be much for tina to do. So looking forward to Thailand may even do a massage course. Will continue later just been called to board.
