First, the bad news - unfortunately had my camera stolen on Friday while walking around Santiago. Big bummer and hassle but it was unavoidable really. Hi all, Yes, I actually made it! After a delayed flight at Heathrow, I thought I would miss my connection in Madrid. Fortunately, some helpful BA staff were there to run us to our departure gate in time. In fact, the plane waited for several delayed flights so ended up leaving Madrid about an hour later than planned.
