We spent four days on the Feejee Experience. We left Nadi and went to the Coral Coast. During this day we visited one of the nicest beaches on the mainland and went sand boarding on huge sand dunes. We then made our way to Suva. We went on a longboat ride up a river and then river tubing down the river, stopping at a waterfall to jump in. We then spent the night at Suva the capital of Fiji. The next day we visited a school and village. Here we participated in a Kava Ceremony and Steve had to be the spokesman of our group. We all had to have a drink of Kava, this is a root mixed in water a special way and tasted horrible like muddy water. You have to drink it in one go and if you dont drink the first its seen as rude. I had one and steve had five. Its meant to have a mellowing effect and it made my tongue go numb when i drank it. We then went Bili Bili Rafting with the villagers. We spent the night on a lovely island called Nananu. We made our way back to Nadi, stopping at an Indian resturant for lunch and then in a natural mud pool and hot pool.
