Back to Livingstone for a little R& R - well not too much, when we first arrived we had booked two more tours! The first was to Livingstone Island, which sits right out in the river, at the top of Victoria Falls. A motor boat took us out there and the river seemed quite calm with no hint, that in a very short distance, it was going to spill over the edge in such a dramatic way. Our carriage on the train was quite comfortable, and as the first night set in, we made up our beds, read for awhile, braved the train toilet and tried to sleep. It should have been easy, but unfortunately the bar lounge was behind our carriage and a steady stream of drunken passengers, kept going up and down the narrow corridor, passing our door.
