A side trip to have dinner with friends.

We found that we could fly to Warsaw Poland via Riga on leaving Uzbekistan for next to nothing. We emailed our friends Wotjec and Justyna that we were comming to Warsaw. They responded with an offer to pick us up from the airport and dinner at their unit. What a great offer, we readily accepted. The last time we visited it was just the two of them, but nature has since added two lovely kids Adam and Lena.

Our friends totally spoiled us with a lovely dinner, which was extended to two dinners (with a bottle of Oz Red) and a lift to the bus station on our departure. It was a very quick visit, but a fantastic one, thanks guys.

While in Warsaw Justyna mentioned a new museum and monument, both dedicated to the Polish uprising against the Germans in WW2 had been opened, so we took the opportunity to visit both. The monument near the old town is very detailed and excellent, while the museum closer to the Central City district is also very well presented.  

Well after a whirlwind visit we are packed off for a 10 hour overnight bus trip to Vilinus in Lithuania.
