Well, 50 minutes to Geneve and then a 2.5 hour wait, then the biggy, 12 hours to Singapore a night flight - toughy when you don't sleep. Rod ate dinner sat back and just went to sleep for nearly 8 hours sitting upright!! - how does he do that, I think its a male thing that they can sleep sitting up. I wriggled, got up walked around, sat down, had water, watched a movie looked at all the people sleeping, put ear plugs in, put the blanket over my head, feet up on the chair arms in front, feet down, read my book - do you get the picture.
The service on Swiss Air was not as good as our day flight from Tokyo to Zurich. They never came around once with drinks during the night. If you wanted something you went down the back and helped yourself, the staff were a little disinterested. Not great for those that are not very mobile. Loads of people were coughing, sneezing so fingers crossed, I had the Colloidial Silver out, up the nose in the throat. Pascal couldn't wait to get off the plane.
We arrived into Singapore and made our way to the Transit Hotel where we stayed airside for the night to break the journey - my version of coming straight through. We checked in and then headed to Terminal 1 for a swim, it was great to be outside for a while, have a swim and relax. Changi is a great airport, a bit like a city. We crashed at 9.30pm hoping to sleep the night - not the case awake at 1am and then no real sleep until it was time to get up and I felt like sleeping - Jetlag its great. A great shower does wonders, with a good coffee and ready for 9 hours and we will be home.
