Hey Elaine!
I'm the grand old age of 22 tomorrow... how scary is that??? Might have to grow up a bit now! HEHE! Taken today off work - off out with some mates later for a meal and drinks, then Andrew and Kat etc are over ours tomorrow for a meal and off out again Sunday with more mates. Busy weekend ahead!
Hope you're still enjoying the travels - can't believe you must only have about 2 months left now - bet you won't be able to sit still when you're eventually home. Still enjoying work but would much rather be swanning around the world anyday!
Have a great Chrimbo in Perth - everyone is coming to our house this year so you'll have to give us all a call Xmas day or let us know a number for you. Sam xx

Dear Elaine,
Just had a look at your fantastic pictures, we are really envious of what you are doing.
The beach looks really great, could just do with that at the moment. It is absolutely freezing here, white frosts each morning - car window scraping time. Bet you are not even thinking about us suffering in the cold. The tan seems to be coming on fine - you do deserve a bit of sun. Don't think I fancy the diving with the big fish - Roger said I would have to get my hair wet! It looks really scarry. The pictures of the animals are really cute - where were they?
We have a lady who comes to Hythe Wives each year from Queensland, she reckons it is the best place in Australia to live as the climate is so good. She comes home each year to see her parents and to come to Hythe Wives to give us a cookery demonstration - things made typically out in Aussie for bbq etc.
We watched your video of you ski -diving - it was "absolutely" wonderful. Roger said he would had a go - but don't think I would be that keen. The video will be worn out by the time you come home as Mum and Dad are showing everyone.
You certainly won't want to come home - life will seem very dull. Having to get up each day to go to work and nothing exciting to look forward to. You are really packing everything in and obviously enjoying life to the full - the glass seems to be full for a lot of the time too!
It is coming up to that time of year again - Christmas. We hear you are going to be with Melanie - that will be great - you should have a good time. It will certainly be a very different sort of Christmas - like spending the day on the beach - lucky you. We will get there hopefully one day - perhaps when we retire.
Have a day off tomorrow to go shopping with Nanny for Christmas presents. Have not got any good ideas at the moment but hopefully will see something inspiring. Have made the Christmas cakes ready for your Mum to decorate -aren't I lucky to have your Mum to do it for me.
Joanne started her new job on 1 November and is enjoying it. She is really busy as lots of her clients wanted to transfer with her which was really great. She needs a bigger desk at the moment to cope with all the work - still she enjoys being busy. The company seems to be very good and she is happy. We will be going to Bristol next week to take her a Christmas tree as usual. She will be coming home for Christmas.
Carry on enjoying yourself and keep the tan going. Will catch up with you again soon.
Lots of love
Aunty Janet and Uncle Roger

Just logged on quickly to see what you have been up to - can't believe you've done so much since I last logged on! Your diving piccies look fantastic, Chris was facinated by the big fish! Nothing changes here work still the same altough I now work one day a week in the Marketing & Communications Dept, I go on a course for 4 days, quite looking forward to that. We are having a new carpet fitted in the next week or so in our lounge, up the stairs and the hall landing so it will loook really different the next time you venture to the Midlands! Hi Elaine! God, those recent pictures are amazing! I want to go!!! Looks like your tan is coming along nicely too! It was great to talk to you on the phone the other week. I am so glad you've done everything you set out to do so far. If I were you I wouldn't want to come back! I want you to come back though as you're sorely missed!!! What are you going to be doing for Christmas then? Tell me if you're going to have an address over the christmas period that I can send you a Christmas card to. I've been making Christmas cards for St Pauls Eye Hospital in Liverpool and all the money I raise is going towards eye cancer care, so I shall send you one of my cards if you're going to be in the same place for a while in December? Speak soon. Loads of love, Lou xxx

Hello Tara and Elaine,
Just checking to see where you guys are.... sounds like Darwin and Airlie to me. I am in Manly and Ralph is driving back from Ayers Rock. Nice pics Elaine. I enjoyed your photos of Fraser Island. Make sure you do a dive in Cairns at the Great Barrier Reef. It is one of the best things you will ever do in your life.
Hope all is well. Safe travels.

Gday You two,
Elaine, How you doing? Sorry i missed your call, i have been living on board a boat in the Great Barrier Reef and got my Advanced now so i missed your call! Done lots of diving including night diving and seeing lots of Sharks, Turtles, Rays and Nemo Clownfish! Realy cool! Glad you liked the pictures, just a few to keep the crowds guessing! Its mad i was hanging about with Catherine and Aimee all the time i was there. Catherine was supposed to leave! Where are you now and when do you get to Cairns? Would be great to meet up! I will be able to take you to the best bars but Tara has blown my cover! Word is spreading fast! Tara, great seeing you the other day, even if it was only for the night, but hey...you got some gossip on me! Maybe i will see you up on the tables in Darwin like you where dancing to Kriss Kross in Cheeky Monkeys!
Anyway keep having fun you two because time is running down!
Love to you both xx
