Hey Yall.. I\'m sorry to say I\'m getting lazy now... and too much sunbathing and have full body massages for 4 pounds is taking its toll and my updates will be a bit fewer and farther between for the last month!! However I deserve it as had a very eventful 3 days travelling to get here and it was awful... we heard it was cheaper to catch the train from Johor Barhu.. which is just across the boarder from Singapore... It was cheaper but had we known what a nightmare it would have been I would have just paid the extra!! It took us 3 days to get to Thailand... Left singpore on Underground thinking our train left from Johor at 3pm. Swapped to bus and crossed the border...but missed bus as it left with out us while we had to go though passport control... had to wait half hour for the next. Then found out train to Kuala Lumper had left at 2.30pm and the next one wasn\'t until 11pm that night.... Dodgy trainstation in dodgy area and nowhere to put luggage!!!!! With an 8 hour wait looking hurrendous.. I managed to find a shopping center which was a god send and very modern with a cinema... so we drank coffee and watched back to back movies WITH our bags!!!! After 8hours wasting time on the way back to the train station we were accosted by a dodgy pissed malaysian man in train stations horrassing us for money I then had to sit on a train over night for 8hr next to a malaysian man sat next clearily not obeying the ''my space' 'your space' rule for the entire journey, couldnt sleep at all while andy and brendon(his mate) were bloody soundo a couple of seats away!! - b*****s..they swear if I had woken them they would have swapped with me!! hahah Arrived in Kuala Lumper the next morning with about 2hrs sleep in the last 24hrs..went to buy train tickets for that evening out of KL into Thailand only to find out it was fully booked because it is a bank holiday and the next free train isnt until Monday (This is saturday!) We would have to get the bus!!! which is the other side of the city in a smelly bus station...so we had to find our way all across town lugging our bags. Managed to leave our bags at the bus station so we could investage KL for the day until our bus at 10.30pm that night!! (still surviving on 2 hours sleep at the moment!) saw the patronas towers which were pretty cool, but was so tierd it kind of took the edge of it! Wondered around for whole day with match sticks in my eyes and headed back to the bus station where we had to completely empty our bags to check incase anybody had stashed any drugs or anything in there during our absense as we were about to cross a border (the bus station was that awful!)...Finally got on our bus ...and for once somebody was giving us a break!! we had fully reclining seats and I slept the whole 10hour trip into Thailand...apart from having to get of twice to cross borders etc. Arrived and 8am in the morning in Hat Yai... another not so great looking city.. only to find out that we had to get on another Minibus for another 4 hours to Krabi our final desination of the day!! - Got to Krabi and its pissing with rain!! Freak weather for this time of year.. blah blah blah... how many times have I heard that this year- Give us a break!!!! Boat to Ko Phi Phi the next morning 1/ 1/2 hours... and yay the sun has come out the beach is georgeous (even though its recovering from the Psunami still and I had a well deserved massage!!!!! There are too many geogeous clothes etc etc... and sooo cheap!!! I\'m gonna love it!!! Of the whole year that has definatley been the hardest part of the trip!!!! Definatley one for the diary!! - Tara... I\'m sure your smiling your head off sat at home now!!! although its probably going to be the one story I repeat over and over as \'nightmare tales as a backpacker\' looking back its so funny.. but at the time it was not..but we did laugh otherwise I think we would have cried.. and to top it all off Brendon, andys friend has come out to meet us and it was the first 3 days of his holiday!!! - all he wants is some sunshine! - but he has it now and it happy! So no I\'m in Ko Lanta.. another slightly less busi island.. got a bunglow on the beach and amazing views... oh maybe another massage is in order? Hired Mopeds today to see a bit of the island.. i looked right the part on my pink bike and pink helment... Otherwise know by brendon now as Pink Panther!!!
