So we finished New Zealand.. can you believe it.. exactly 6 months gone now.. how quick its gone we can't explain.
Following on from our last update, its been a bit more chilled out.. no more jumping off of or out of things, and a good deal more cheap sight seeing..
Elaine climbed the Franz Joesph Glacier and managed to get herself wedged between some ice, and then snowboarding on the Remarkables.. aching and bruised for about a week but never the less a proud blue runner now..
We headed down to Milford Sounds which is ment to be the most beautiful scenery and boat cruise, however it pissed down with rain and we couldn't see a thing.
Then on to Stewart Island, via Te anu and Ivacargill, all very small remote towns like most of new zealand.. On Stewart island we completely chilled out.. we had a cottage to 6 girls, and we hardly think we did anything other than read, relax and bit of yoga!! (thanks to our yoga instructor friend Emma) and then a bit more relaxing.. it was so great to stop for just a few days.
Then on the Dudedin for about 5 days, and did the sights there, cadburys factory, speights brewery.. and we hired a car for the days and crusied the otago penisular which was spectacular, seeing a few more sea lion and penguins on the beach.
Final Stop was Christchurch, for 5 days, where we drank and relaxed.. The boys dressed up as ladies as they were conned into believing it was free punch for ladies and anyone who dressed up as one.. only to find this was not the case!! but they loved it anyway.. any excuse to wear womens clothes.. and they all actually looked scarily good! ( photos still to be posted on the website for that night!)
On to Aussie now for 4-6 months can not believe its here, I have run out of money so plan to get a job and hang around in sydney for a while. Taras still rolling in it so is going to sun herself on the beach, and rub my nose in it!
Loads of stuff has happened along route but jsut too much to write, it will teach me to leave it so long before updating the site.. anyway you have about a million photos to look at so I wont blab on and on anymore.. Until the next installment from Aussie land.!
