A relatively short postcard from Brisbane, which is Queensland I know but I've only just got here and its Raining.. not just rainning but POURING down!! I thought it was gonna be sunny from now on!..

Oh well not to worry, Ive already got a good tan due to the fact that all weve done is basically beach it for a while now.

Port Macquarie is a lo

vely town, quite small but everything is central and lots of little coves to explore.. Me, Sarah and Paula, hired bikes for the day to ride to light house beach to ride camels ( which I didnt do after my last experience in Turkey with camel trying to steal my shoe!!) and then on to the Koala santurary which was actually quite sad..they either had Clamidia ( yes the STD!), 'wet bottom' which is bascially a brown stained bum, or no claws because they had been burnt off by bush fire!! so our first experience of Koala has left us scared for life!! thing I'll wait till Billabong national park to hold a heathy onE! Haha.

Port Macquarie is another hundendously Hilly town, which we found out when on our Bike ride!.. beautful by why have I never been about to find a flat cycle route!!.

Moved on to Coffs Harbour for One day, didn't think it was that special really, so much so that we even got up and went for a run in the morning!! thats how much wasn't there!... We did walk to Mutton Bird Island and had a nice view back of the Harbour, after that we hit the beach.
Went to a local quiz night one night, it was so typical.. Quiz master was called Dave and had a very tacky sequin jacket and told us he was hoping to make it onto TV one day!!..in 1 round we got 0 correct! which was quite embarrassing, to much sun I think!

Then Byron Bay!! Great Place and could have spent much longer there, very holidayfied but great. Had $5 drink as much sangria as you can night which went down a storm, but again beach, beach beach!! Bumped into Paul my flat mate and the 2 swedish girls from the farm again, such a small world.

Now in Brisbane, went for a walk up to Mount Koo tah to see a great view of the city, and celebrated Janines Birthday ( who came to Karuah with me) apart from that its been peeing with rain!!

Next post card should me far more exciting as the tours start in a few days, first stop camping canoe safari!! can't wait!!
