Arrived in La Paz on Thursday afternoon after a relatively short bus ride (about 4 hours)! We found a hostel which finally had hot, powerful showers (woo!), so once we´d dumped our bags, we headed into the city to check out the sights! Copacabana was small but pretty. Although it was very sunny, and had the feel of a ´beach´town (due to it sitting right on Lake Titicaca, which is absolutely huge!), it was still pretty chilly and nights were freezing! We spent Monday afternoon wandering around the town, looking at the market stalls and deciding where to eat! We eventually picked a cafe mentioned in the lonely planet guide....it was a great choice! After a 35 minute flight from Cusco to Juliaca, we hopped straight on a bus to Puno on the Peruvian side of Lake Titicaca. We were travelling from Cusco to La Paz with an Australian friend Hayley who we had met in Huachachina and met up with again in Cusco.
