Tuesday 28th we arrived in Buzios, and thankfully it was sunny! So we went straight to the beach (a very mini one right by the harbour) once we had unloaded our bags at the hostel (which was right in the middle of town, and two minutes from the harbour). Once it started to cool down a bit, we went and showered ready to head out for a hearty meal...only to discover it had been raining whilst we were getting ready. So we tried to find a restaurant nearby that was cheap and served good food (not so easy to do) - Buzios is known as being the St Tropez of Brazil, so prices aren´t exactly traveller friendly! After a nice meal, we then went for a drink and Jess and Lee got a yummy chocolate, ice-cream and marshmallow crepe for dessert! It went down a treat!
The next day the weather was gorgeous so we decided to do a boat tour around the beaches of Buzios. The boat was big and spacious with lots of room for sunbathing! It stopped a number of times where we could jump out and swim to the shore. Lee unleashed his mega bomb...which nearly ended in a bellyflop! Elle gracefully dived in and nearly lost her bikini!!
The boat trip brought us back for lunchtime, and then we spent the afternoon chilling on the beach, and watching the sun set over the harbour which was beautiful, as you can see in the piccys!
Our third day in Buzios was unfortunately rainy and miserable, so we decided to head off to our next stop, a town in the mountains above Rio, called Petropolis.
