We arrived in Sydney today and it was such a beautiful sunny day!!! We started with a walk around Darling Harbour which was a nice area. After a full day of hiking to the lighthouse and back yesterday, we decided to chill out all day at the beach today! It was a nice, hot, sunny day. We arrived in our luxiourios brand new hostel in Byron Bay last night nad had the best nights sleep ever! Today we wealked up to the lighthouse and just beyond that to Cape Byron which is the most easterly point of Australia. there were amazing views from here and we tried some FABULOUS ice cream which is one of the top ten ice cream makes in Australia! Arrived early morning into Hervey Bay... had a very entertaining American bus driver for the first half of our night Journey! Today was laundry day... we chilled out loads too! Walked to the beach and then had all you can eat pizza back at the hostel where we chatted to a few people who were going to do Fraser Island the next day. Having an early night as we have to be up and ready for 6.30 am!!!!!

Hit some hard waves today! 1m swell! They were very scary! Me and Libby screamed a little! Me and Selina were very sea sick afterwards! Went to Whitsunday Island and saw Whitehaven Beach.
