Today we got up early (its going to be like that every day now on in NZ... wohoooo!!!) and set off to Picton where we would catch the ferry to Wellington. We managed a couple of stops on the way: 1) A seal colony.... saw some really cute baby seals! 2) A waterfall... can't remeber its name but it was around 30m high and was very pretty! After a sleep over in Sydney airport, yesterday morning we arrived into Christchurch, New Zealand. We had a nap as soon as we got into our hostel, and then went out to celebrate St. Patricks day! We thought a curry was well deserved after many nights of cooking our own dinner. It was all about Bondi Beach today! However the weather was not great. We sat on the beach for about half an hour, where we saw a couple of good surfers pulling some moves, and then left because it was raining and windy. So we got our hot chocolates in at a nearby cafe and chilled out there for a bit before heading back to the hostel where we chilled out for the rest of the day! x

Today we walked to Oxford Street, and then along to Paddington Market. There were lots of lovely things to look at, nice paintings, jewellery and clothes. As we are on a budget we didnt buy anything! But it was nice to look around. Next we headed towards the Aussie Football Stadium, and next door was the Cricket ground.
