Arrived in Wroclaw (pronounced Vrotswaff) this evening and the supposed all-year round campsite was well and truly padlocked shut so we had to stay in a hotel instead. (In this weather I am definitely a little happy about this sort of situation.)

We had a great day on the Sunday with Iwona and Jurek, Daniel's Mum's best friend from school. We were treated to all sorts of amazingly tasty Polish food and I had the pleasure of listening to Daniel speaking a foreign language instead of the other way around; my broken and pitiful German has been our only hope in some of the Eastern European countries where English is not very common.
