Definitely a truely beautiful place. Sounds like a famous baseball pitcher from the 1950's but the lake is, in our humble opinion the pick of the ones that we had visited.

Found an amazing campsite right on the shores of the lake and we pretty much picked up pole position on the shore line whoch we shared with ducks, swans and grebes for 3 days. Pretty awesome and pretty lucky, which we are pretty happy we managed to score.

Took the cabel car to the top of one of nearby mountains and mountain biked back to base. 25kms of mountainous bliss and aching clacker later, returned tired but content. Missed a few turns along the way, but you get that on the big jobs. Interesting coloured mushrooms all over the place that is for sure.
