We arrived in Plzen, the home of Pilsner lager, and headed straight to the Pilsner Urquell factory for a tour which included some tasting and a short visit to the bottling factory which produces 60,000 bottles and 28,000 cans of Pilsner lager per hour. The on site beer hall was handy for post-tour refreshments and then we made our way back into town for more of the same.
The next morning we parked up and went for a quick brekky before heading to Germany, when we returned to the Nad after breakfast we found a rather nasty looking clamp on Nad's back wheel and the lovely sticky notice they always paste onto your window.
A trip to the police station and 5 minutes later the cops showed up to take it off, of course we had the obligatory dressing-down for parking in a reserved spot (which was one car space away from the free parking section we thought we were in!) and 500 crowns later we were on our way. I don't know why they fine you anyway, surely the name and shame clamp and the subsequent dirty stares off the locals we got was punishment enough.
