The drive along the coast from Dubrovnik to Split gives an amazing outlook over the Adriatic coast. Stunning scenery with islands dotted amongst the crystal blue water. On that road you actually drive through Bosnia and Herzegovina for a few miles and then back into Croatia again.

We spent the afternoon walking around the old town centre which is surrounded by Roman ruins, there is a lovely port with the usual great big flashy yachts. We´re just jealous.

We thought about a trip over to Hvar Island which so many people have advised us to do but the cost of taking Nad on the ferry is beyond our budget. We´re looking to Hoff to organise that sailing trip to Croatia for next summer that he mentioned.
