Transfer day back to the capital Antananarivo - Tuesday the 29th of May Was a long transfer day back to the capital and unfortunately it was Heather's turn to be ill - so she ended up being sick a few times during the night and was of course not feeling fantastic in the morning either. Therefore in a way it was good that there were no activities today but on the other hand it could also be tough - a long day in the car on rough roads when your stomach is turning....

By boat to Palmarium Hotel Ankanin'Nofy (Lake Ampitabe) and Night visit to see the Aye-Aye - Sunday the 27th of May Had a decent night sleep so did feel a bit better in the morning so managed to get everything packed as it was also time to move on and went for breakfast with Heather and Dan to just get a bit of bread in my stomach. Got picked up by our driver at 8 AM - who was a really nice man but doesn't speak a lot of English so we were told the day before that everywhere we go there would be a local English speaking guide looking after us but that he would be our driver for the next 4 weeks. Left Antananarivo in rush hour so was a lot of traffic getting out of the city but again really interesting to watch all the local people.
