Wind horrible wind lifting our canoe off the canopy we had to wressle some straps and secure canoe a bit more. We have 59 miles to go to try to beat a snow storm predicted tomorrow. Bishop in California is where we hope to hunker down. You'll see pictures of mono lake a very interesting lake it has fresh water flowing in but no outlets so it makes these calcium and salt formations. Very interesting and we did get out to walk down and look around but the wind was horrible. So even though we wanted to stay we were still trying to out run the predicted snow storm.
