We made it. Ran from the snow and wind and rain. Got in here at dark which made finding a camping spot very hard. If planning to come to death valley furnace Creek you should make reservations 4 days to 6 mo. In advance
We ended up in an overflow parking lot but it's not so bad. Close to water and potties and we will be off exploring today so all is good. We'll put our deck down today and John will BBQ tonight. All is good. The views getting in here were just beautiful. John was so glad he installed the exhaust break as quite a few hills. The ole Diesel on one Hill climb got a little warm but it cooled down going down. We are 160 feet below sea level. The weather is cloudy and warm about 70 degrees. We hope to stay here about 3 days enjoying the weather, looking around and relaxing. ha! we stayed 6 days. There is so much to see and do and we did something every day. My favorite was the Titus canyon drive. There we were driving up, up, up and then down, down, down till you were surrounded by rock cliffs all around you. I felt like we were at the bottomo of the grand canyon.
Mosic canyon was a great hike. It had dry waterfalls and the rocks in areas were polished. Also some logs were peterfied so cool.
Dauntes peak gave you spactular views of the desert and I guess at night you can see las vegas lights.
But we had to leave this beautiful place because there is more to see of this USA.
