In an attempt to fit in in this very active place, we opted for a hike. Now in order to do a marked hike we needed to get a train which we couldnt afford so we decided to walk up the mountain instead. ....... here was the fatal error. The hike should have taken 3 hours and we passed only 2 other hikers who were clearly expereincd., but 4 hours later we were about 80% of the way. Have spent a good few hours with the drunkards in Bern train station. We have decided thgat becuase switzerland has crappy weather we will by passs it and go onto venice...... The train station is like a mini city its mad, and what kills me is that the waiting room is next toa shop called world of tea ahhhhhhhhhhhh!
