Sunday 11th - Thursday, 15th November On Sunday we just chilled out around Sanpakha. During the week we didn't seem to teach as much as we did last week. Yesterday was the Salakapat Festval where everyone in the village gives money and offerings to the Monks and the Temple. We went up to the Temple at 9am with the whole school. When we arrived we all went into the Temple, gave the offerings to the head Monk and prayed to him and Buddha. The prayer was very long! Sunday - Rosie took us for a drive in their pick up around the valley where we are living. It was lovely! The temples are different up here as they have Brmease influence. We stopped off at some places and Rosie told us a bit about the temples, the royal family (who are all so well spoken of and respected) and a couple of the schools they have done projects with.
