Amsterdam, weed capital, well it certainly lives upto itsname. Cafes are situated on the corners offering a huge variety of marijuana types. The red light district is what you'd expect, ranchy. If i were to not see another vagina again I would die a happy person. And the sex shops are so over the top. Too often you'll walk by a nice looking store to be surprised with a vulgar fallace in the hands of one of the manicans. The stairs are very steep, and the people are very friendly and speak english which is so convenient. Dutch is an interesting language. To me it seems like a mix of german and english, reminding me of Mad Gab, or even pig latin, but not as hard to understand. The city is beautiful, and EVERYONE rides a bicycle. There are millions of bikes, making it the highest bikes per capita city in the world. The anne Frank Museum is moving and very tourist friendly, however they do let too many people in at once. The sun is up at 6 am and down at 11pm, with brightest part at around 5pm. The houses are stylishly decorated as are the locals. Apparently everyone here is stinkin rich because only the wealthy can afford to live here. I believe it, an add for a 2 bedroom was asking for 1300 euros a month. This place is great, I am so coming back!
