Day two.

We got up early today to see our rep, after sleeping for what seemed like only a few hours. The jet lag caught up with us when we realised it was about 3am and we were still going!
We booked Grand Canyon, The Valley of Fire, La Reve, a drag act show, an open top bus tour and the shark reef at Mandalay bay. A large chunk in our budgets!!

Today we walked everywhere. When we arrived yesterday, the temperature was comfortable, but it was overcast after a storm. Today was a different ball game! We got up to slight overcast skies, but by mid morning, you could fry an egg on the pathways. The sun is relentless and wears you out really quickly. Luckily there are ice cocktail joints everywhere :)
We headed to the Venetian, where we took a gondolier ride through a beautiful undercover canal way, made to look like Venice/Marks square.
We also went to the secret garden at the Mirage, to see the dolphins and big cats. The dolphins were amazing, the cats were all asleep in the sun, legs akimbo and snoring, and through wire fences, so no pics of the cats.
We walked back via Caesars Palace to get amazing ice cream.
We're now off to Planet Hollywood for our buffet dinner, courtesy of Virgin holidays? A freebie welcome gift :)
