So we arrivied in Fiji Monday 12th Oct after a 10 hour flight from Los Angeles. Due to the time changes we lost our Sunday which was odd! We got to Nadi airport and then got a transfer flight in a 10 seater plane to Plantation Island - smallest plane i've been in but was good to fly over the many islands of Fiji en-route.

We arrived at Plantation Island and had to get a boat to our island where our resort Funky Fish was situated. The beach wasn't so good here and there were only 3 guests including Tony and i so wasn't much of a party vibe or much going on. It also rained for 3 days straight which wasn't too pleasant as there wasn't anything else to do! Played boardgames, slept and ate lol and we got bitten by millions of mosquitos and now are paying for it with swollen legs and rashes!

Our third night was spent in a backpacking resort on Bounty Island, took 1 hr to get there by boat and this island was so much nicer. Beautiful beaches and more than 3 guests, the sun also decided to pop out and join us too! This island is where 'celebrity love island' was filmed - if you've heard of it? Met some really nice people here, a guy from Norway and a couple from Wolverhampton and the food was amazing - lovely homecooked curries and chilli.

The islands of Fiji are beautiful but very expensive so for the last bit of our trip Tony booked us in the Warwick Spa Resort, 1hr from Nadi airport on the main island. This hotel is amazing, booked here for 6 nights and they have a spa, 4 restaurants and it's an amazing 5* location. You should check it out on google! So different to the beach huts we spent the last 3 nights in, it also is so much cheaper on the mainland to stay so we can afford something nicer :o) I think Tony is treating his little princess hehe :o)

We are here for 5 more nights, planning to get more pool and beach time in, enjoy our beach bar cocktails and play some tennis and miniature golf before we head back to a Nadi Airport hotel for our last night on 21st. We then fly to Brisbane!
