A day trip to explore the outskirts of Adelaide. Claire kindly lent me the car and I took a drive to Gameracker to find a giant rocking horse and a parrot that would greet you with, 'Hello, Parrot' :) I tried talking to the Peacock aswell, trying to get it to open it's tail feathers, not even flattery worked! I then drove up Mount Lofty and around Adelaide hills through the winery's, around Cleland conservation park and Handorf, such beautiful sights across the city.

One evening after work, Claire took me to her favourite beach, Gleniege, where we had a loverly stroll along the beach and pier to watch the sunset, followed by some gorgeous ice cream :)
Did you know, Australia has free bbq's for the public to use, just out there on the beach, for anyone to use!! What a great idea!! Definitely gotta do that before I leave the country.
Thanks Claire and family for letting me stay, sorry the stay didn't end up being us long as we'd hoped. I love Adelaide, but door knocking just wasn't my thing :P
