17/4/2011 Jumped off the train early doors at Chengalpattu where I was greeted by an awesome scene. Walking over the platform bridge, there were dozens of tiny fishing boats on a huge lake with the backdrop of mountains and the sun creeping up behind causing a beautiful blend of colours across the water. 16/4/2011 Up early after an early night and straight for a scrummy buffet breakfast at a posh hotel for under 2.50 pounds! Watermelon or lime juice, hot drinks, cereal, french toast with syrup, exotic fruity jams on toast, boiled eggs, rice-cake-doughy bits in coconut or tomato chutney, curries and more! 14/4/2011 Argument with hotel owner trying to tell us it was 300 per night when we agreed 200! He was outside our room most of the day but we just told him no. Chris almost gave in but I was having none of it! 13/4/2011 The Danish lads were supposed to cook for us on some course but when we met them they had already eaten! So we offed them and went for scrambled egg and pepsi! Chilled on beach and in crazy waves again. Can't emphasise how powerful they are. Try bodyboarding and then just letting yourself go and the force of the water smashes you somersaulting you closer to shore. Can get quite scary sometimes if it holds you under for a while!
