OH MY GOD.....have just done a truly once in a lifetime thing, did the heli hike on Franz Josef Glacier which was seriously amazing!!! The Maori name for the glacier is the tears of the avalanche girl and u can see why as the glacier spreads all the way down the moutain. Arrived in New Zealand after an uber long boring flight but came over the mountains as the plane was coming in to land and straight away I fell in love with the country. Went straight into the middle of Christchurch to spend the night in a hostel before setting off on a road trip on a famous road called Arthurs Pass (better memorial than the bench Arthur got in Albert Square) which was truly amazing!!
