Tom's Travels
Arrived in New Zealand after an uber long boring flight but came over the mountains as the plane was coming in to land and straight away I fell in love with the country. Went straight into the middle of Christchurch to spend the night in a hostel before setting off on a road trip on a famous road called Arthurs Pass (better memorial than the bench Arthur got in Albert Square) which was truly amazing!! I've never seen such amazing scenery in my life...coming out of Christchurch the road was completely flat and you could see snow capped mountains in the distance. Once on the pass proper we twisted for hours through all the mountains seeing beautiful landscapes at every corner we passed. Amazing and was only my first proper day
In Franz Joseph at the moment in the little town beneath the glacier and have booked to go on a heli hike tomorrow so looking forward to that
