hey,

we are now in byron bay, and therefore left Queensland and are in the state of New south wales, which meand we have had to change our clocks again and now we are 11hours ahead of the UK. (as kieran says - we are living in the future).

we arrived in byron bay on monday and had to checkin to our first dorm in 2 weeks, but we thought it would be good to get back in the backpacker vibe and make some new friends but we are shareing a room with 2 canadian guys who have been living in that hostel 2 months and the room was such a mess. so we have decided to only stay in double room froom now on untill we share with hazel and luke in melbourne!!!

so on monday we didne arrive here till 5pm so we just had some tea and a walk around the town.

yesterday (tues) we got up early to go on a snorkel tour of julian islands, where 3 species of sea turtles live, so we were really looking forward to that, howver, it was abit dissapointing as we didnt end up see any turtles but we did see lots of cool fish and star fish as well as a few manta rays.- no pictures of them thos as our underwater camera case broke so we took it back.

today we are just killing time around the town till ate bus at 1pm down to coffs harbour. we have booked all our buses now till sydney as every backpacker is now headin to sydney for xmas and new year so all the buses are backout.

we have also booked our hop on hop off bus for new zealand with magic, as they had a really good offer on (buy a north island pass, get the south island pass for $1) so we decided althought we did want to get a campervan, we might go made in it for 5 weeks, so we just getting a camper for one week whiles there and do the rest by bus.

hope u all ok and excited about xmas, will miss u all loads over xmas and new year.
