its been a while since we last updated.
since byron bay we spent a couple of days at coffs harbour which was a nice little beach town.
we are now in sydney. been here just over a week.
we got here on the 20th, the same day that our friends hazel and luke got here from new zealand. which was good. so since we have been in sydney we have been up to the opera house and harbour bridge. on our first day and also went for a walk though the botanical gardens. which is lovelty but has bats everwere in the trees, which is really random. see the opera house and harbour bridge was very wierd, we couldnt believe we were in sydney.
the next day we took a hour hour ferry on manly beach and spent the afternoon sunbathing there.
on xmas eve we went on a trip to huntervally were there are over 140 vineyards. so we traveled to a few of the vineyards and did wine tasting- a nice change for xmas eve. then on xmas eve night we went to darling harbour and went to afew bars on there.
xmas day was very wierd. did not feel like xmas at all. we got up a lot later than im used to on xmas eve. then we went for a bbq at hazel and lukes place before going to spend the afternoon on bondi beach, was a very hot day. later that night we went to darling harbour for tea and drinks.
boxing day was a chill out day and we spent it looking around the shops then went to the cinema.
the following day the four of us hired a car and drove to the blue mountains (our hire car was full of green spiders) the blue mountainswere lovly, we saw the 3 sisters from many different lookouts and did a bush walk to the bottom of the mountains then got the steapest railway in the world back to the top.
toms mum (jane) and sister sarah arrive in sydney the folowing day 28th. so we met the and went for tea at darling harbour.
then yesterday we went to the opera house and the harbour bridge and botanical gardens with them, and the for lunch at the rocks (which is a place here the harbour bridge)with jane and sarah.
today we got the boat across the harbour to sydneys zoo with jane and sarah and then went to hazels and lukes for tea. we cooked kangaroo fajitas, which were great.
