We MADE IT!!

Epic journey out here bear with us while we summerise it!

Emotional move out of the flat in Edinburgh! Really sad to leave that place and beautiful weather made it even harder!

Had an easy enough drive down to Telford where we started to rely on public transport. This is where things started to go wrong, the train was delayed coming into Wellington meaning we missed our connection. Ended up on a train with some ultra rough couple having a pretty heavy marital.

Eventually made it to London to spend the night with Charlies parents in the Holiday Inn by Heathrow. We really appreciated that they put us up and made sure we were ready for the start of our trip! Although London driving was good preparation for what was to come!

So up at 5am to be at Heathrow, Flight with Jet airways to Mumbai and then onwards to Bangkok. Having been lead to believe they might be quite budget they were actually awesome! Really good food, good films on the inflight entertainment and even got some sleep.

Personal highlight of the trip so far for Tom!! Mumbai airport was mental, the transfer bus from the departure gate to the plane thought he was Micheal Schumacher! Racing around, flashing lights and beeping horns at people in his way. Charlie thought she saw a collision as well...

So here we are on Khoasan Road, intial impressions are HOT and lots of hassle! Looking forward to 1PM when we can check into our room and chill out without being bugged by suit sales men and tuk tuk drivers!
