We had a relatively good nights sleep at the home stay, the beds were not more than mattress inside a barn but we had bug nets, so slept without incident. There is a fair amount of wildlife knocking around and have seen various beetles, butterflies and moths out in the countryside. We were due to set off trekking at 10 so had a lie in until 9 which was a nice change, instead of the early starts. We set off again deeper into the rice fields and walked through until around lunch where we reached our final stop. The scenery was much the same and the extra half days walking didn't add much. We had lunch at our last stop before taking a bus back to our hotel. We got a showered and changed and then went to explore the town a bit more. We played some more football with the local kids until dinner and then went back. Had dinner and then waited for the night bus back to Hanoi. The night bus came at 9 and we slept basically the whole way back to Hanoi.
