Woke up early for a bus from Ho Chi Min to Mui Ne. The bus was a sleeper, so had reclined chairs in stacks of two high. Me and tom were put at the back of the bus next to 3 other back packers. Started the day early at 6:00 to have an early breakfast and get out onto the Delta main river. We went straight to the river and onto a boat to experience the floating market. It was absolutely incredible, with boats of all sizes selling goods. We bought fresh mangoes and rice products to eat at the time. Woke up at around 7am at the hostel and prepared to get ready to leave by bus to reach the Mekong Delta (South of Ho Chi Min) we stopped off at various places on the way, including a place with huge Buddha statues. Arrived in hotel Saigon. Relatively painless trip from the airport and already been ripped off for the taxi ride to the hotel paid 500,000 when should be about 200,000. Spent much of the day riding around on the back of a scooter with 'Mr Min'. Showed us lots of the city a got a good feel. The driving was a crazy experience, cutting in and out of traffic.
