Great night last night but today Tom was signed up to do the Sydney bridge walk and in order to do this he would need to pass a breathalyser test….honestly! He sauntered off late morning to complete his Harbour Bridge walk having had 2-3 cups of tea/coffee and plenty of water, whilst Sue went shopping! Tom passed the breathalyser and although unsure about having to strip down to his undies to don the obligatory onesie he really did enjoy the bridge walk. However he did say that it was really quite windy along the way with winds gusting at over 50 knots - absolutely ruined his hair!!
Met up in Central Quay after Toms walk and returned to the bridge to climb up one of the side pylon lookouts so that Sue could get an idea of the views. We then walked through the city to Darling Harbour / Cockle bay; a really buzzy area with many of bars and restaurants and although quite Disneyesque we managed to find a really good restaurant by the water and had a lovely meal. On the way back through Darling harbour we happened across a bar with a 7 piece band playing some good music so stopped for a dance - no one else was but never mind we are on holiday!
