Hey Peeps,

We've left Thailand now, and have headed into Cambodia. We are in Siam Reap at the mo. The journey was an experience. I'm amazed we both made it alive, but after 16 hours of traveliing we made it to the centre!!!!!

When we got over the border from Thailand, we were meant to be catching a mini bus, but when we got there it was a pick-up truck that we managed to get 22 people into. Pretty amazing site. We were told that the road was broken, and so we would be in the pick up until we got to the other side, and then we'd catch the bus. Some one heard 5 mins from one of the guys, but 2 hours later we were still going. Turns out that the road was broken, and had flooded in most places. Although we were pissed at the time, thankgod we were on a pick up, as the bus would never have made it accross.

We just had to wait and watch the other trucks get through. It was so dusty, the roads are just dust tracks over here. As soon as it got dark the mozzies were out to get us all. As I found out this morning, I've bitten loads, and they're intching like hell :-( At a couple of points we had to wade through all the mud to get to the other side, and then the driver attempted to get the truck over..... made it each time thankfully!!!

I lost everyone at one point, looked like I and this Japanese girl were destined to live in Cambodia for ever. It was pitched black, muddy and all alone. Thankfully Tom realised I was missing and found me eventually. Yey my hero (cheesy). Good job he came looking as the Japanese gir's friend didn't say anything to the rest of the group that she hadn't come back. We made it to Siam Reap at last, and we're staying in a really nice, but really cheap hostel. We like it when this happens. TV, hot shower (this is now a luxury) and the comfiest bed ever!!!!!!

Watched the sunset at Angkor Wat this evening, and were going back tomorrow to see all the temples. Should be fun, but I'm sure we'll be templed out after tomorrow. We've seen so many temples now that they really need to be spectacular to impress.
