We have left the Pilbra Region of Dampier, after visiting Roebourne, Wickham and Karratha. We spent last night at a very basic caravan park and today have found ourselves a free camp on the banks of the Robe River, minus the water. From here we are either going to Onslow or on to Karijini National Park.

After spending 2 days in Port Hedland sightseeing and catching up with friends we are off to Point Samson. From there we can explore the towns of Roeborne, Wickham and Cossack.

Pardoo, Western Australia

We are camping up overnight at a place called Cape Keraudren, a camp area 11km NW of Pardoo Roadhouse. Tom hopes to catch more fish, but I think I'll just relax and catch up on some reading. The sand flies are a bit friendly so bring out the repellant.

Eighty Mile Beach, Western Australia

At long last we have caught ourselves a feed of fish. Eighty Mile Beach came through for us. The shells on the beach are fantastic and I have collected quite a few. We are off today about 100 k down the track.

Paraburdoo, Western Australia

We are driving through Paraburdoo on our way to Karijini, we stopped of at a free camp last night which was a nice change as accommodation can get quite expensive out here. Looking forward to some lovely gorges.
