Went to Palm Beach today (aka HOME AND AWAY) with Josh, Brian and the kids, it was so surreal and a lot smaller than it looks on the t.v!! Tom and i went for a swim but the Cox family missed out because of their pessimism over the weather!! Following a picnic we went to the Newport Arms for a few drinks before heading back to their place for an awesome BBQ feast!!! The following morning, we headed back to bondi having exchanged christmas pressies.

Hurrah! Our first postcard, and it comes to you from the Blue Mountains, two hours north west of Sydney. Once we had arrived in Katoomba, we hopped onto a London bus and headed to Echo Point, close to the Three Sisters. We then decended the 1000 rugged, uneven steps down to a path which weaved around the steep mountain cliffs and finished up at the foot of the steepest railway in the world which took us back to the top.... Following this, we headed to Honeymoon...

Continuing on Thursday from the border village, we travelled along Australias longest straight road for 145km.....tom and i counted the dead kangeroos along a 1km stretch of it, a staggering 99 kangeroos had ended there lives along it!! After over 1000km that day, we rocked up at Norseman were my weary eyes managed to blag us a free pitch in the few campsites around!
