First stop was Moscow - which we absolutely loved!! The first day we had the most amazing weather - crisp bright blue skies! We spent 10 hours walking around the city... the most exercise either of us have done since before the wedding!!

We saw all the sights, the Kremlin, St Basil's Cathedral, the Bolshoi Theatre (which was unfortunately closed so no ballet for us - I think Dan was relieved!). We went to see Lenin - thought it would be good to put a face to a name and all that...! He looks pretty waxy, so we weren't convinced it was really him?!?! Moscow was quite expensive - but not as bad as James and Julian made out (think they must have been shopping in the equivalent of Harrods!!).

Lots of great pictures, but we lost our USB lead, so just trying to figure out an alternative way of downloanding them.

Next stop Ekaterinburg (on a 26 hour train!)

By the way - flat rented and contracts signed!
