Arrived in Ekaterinburg a couple of days ago after a 26 hour train journey from Moscow, which wasn't as bad as it sounds! At the station in Moscow the ticket lady did not seem happy with our tickets (as they were all in Russian we had no idea what they said anyway!). She looked confused and wondered off then came back, seemed to want to explain something about our tickets, but couldn't speak any English - in the end she gave up and let us on. Stil have no idea...

First stop was Moscow - which we absolutely loved!! The first day we had the most amazing weather - crisp bright blue skies! We spent 10 hours walking around the city... the most exercise either of us have done since before the wedding!! We saw all the sights, the Kremlin, St Basil's Cathedral, the Bolshoi Theatre (which was unfortunately closed so no ballet for us - I think Dan was relieved!).
