Hi People, well i am currently sat in a kitchen in a town called aubenas in the south of france!

The drive down was really good, i drove around paris ( so far the most confusing place to drive next to london) then onward to lyon! on my way i saw three speed camers inabout 700miles i saw twice that just from swindon to dover!

most of the way i drove cross country to avoid paying the tolls, but in the late evening i headed to the motorways as my road just kept vanishing, i stoped in every serice station on the way tring to find somewhere i sould stop the night but no such luck. eventualy i ran out of motorway (tolls only came to 2.60 euros proably beacause i was the only car i had seed for the last 2 hours) i had to jump out and run round my car at ever toll station as i could not reach the coin bins!

Eventuly i found a hotel but looked rather pricy so i parked in it car park as far away as i could and set about turning my car into a den! i moved my stuff into the front seats and made a bet out od shoes and my coat to smooth out the boot, snuggled into my sleeping bag and huddeled up to my bike( so i could pull its cover over me) and there you have it, me in my car in a den where no1 could see me at all! i might add the best nights sleep i have had in a while.

I awoke feeling entirly refreshed about 6.30, jumped out of my car put my stuff back in the back and was off after cheching my car over! after my swift escape i stopped for some porridge and water.

the rest of th ejourny was easy going. when i got to aubenas i had to fine somewhere to get a phone card to use a pay phone, this may sound easy but took about an hour, then to top it off i spent an hour trying to get the phone to work, only to discover that the number 1 did not work! i swapped phones and bingo got it first time!

i got somebody to come and find me and shortly after arriving truly at my final destination i went to sleep!
