Wednesday - what a storm we had last night! Or I should say, the wee hours of the morning. It sounded like a mini-hurricane again. Thunder, lightening, wind, heavy rain...We seemed alot better when we woke up. The wind was gone, the waves were small. So we decided to try going Parasailing through the nearby rental booth. 10:30 start time. When we got there, early, we were told too windy, the pick-up shuttle boat got swamped picking up the previous riders and could we please drive to the boat dock at the north end of the island to get onto the parasailing boat there. After we found the place, we waited quite awhile...when we finally boarded another shuttle to be taken out to the PArasailing boat, the clouds were getting dark and low. We did get onto the parasailing boat after the earlier riders were done and we switched boats. But.....the capitain decided to forgo our parasailing trip because of the weather. He pulled in the parasail and speed us back to the dock. So we got real close to parasailing but did not get to parasail! So we opted to try it tomorrow morning, early, 9:00 am. before the weather turns bad later in the day. If we still don't get to parasail, we can get our money back. Whew! SO 2 hours after we started, we got a nice boat ride but no parasailing experieince. It really started raining and storming abit, so we went to the movies again, "Up". Afterwards, it finally cleared up and we walked a really nice outdoor mall-type place where the theater was and did some shopping. We never ate dinner until 8:00 pm! So I only have a "not very colorful" photo of the setting sun today. Thank God for our Garmin GPS! It has gotten us to a lot of places around here! Love you guys!
