Yes, they do really shut down pretty much after lunch and early afternoon. Then open back up 5, 6 or 7:00. Depends on the store and eatery. The temperature has been hot but sunny. We had hot, steamy temps when we first got here, but it has cooled down to the 80's and low humidity. We did have that hail storm in Venice. Yes, I do have more pictures, just don't have time to post them all. Thanks to all for looking and responding!!
