Soooooooooo been a while again..woops!

As there's been soo much thats happened that i have written down - off exploring readers will get the shortened version, anyone who wants it in more detail can be bored when i get back to UK or see them next (if not residing in UK!)

1. Bondi - Surf Camp

Spent a morning honing our surfing skills, see photos..not too bad for a second timer :) 6am wake up call as well :( Met some guys and girls who have popped up all over the east coast.

2. Byron Bay

This was the place to finally break us in the the world of GOON (cheap disgusting boxed wine - 4Ltr for $8!!) Couple of boozy nights, with some interesting dance moves was a laugh. Got to see the most easterly point of Oz which was lots of walking and an uphill cycle :)

3. Brisbane

Cruised in via the Oz experience bus and got picked up by Ben and Katy (that we met in Stellenbosch) spent the weekend and a couple more days with them and Ben's family - had a n awesome time, probably the best looked after since we left home - cooked meals, made ice cream, had a ute to drive about (love the Datsun!!) big thankyou's go out to everyone that made us feel very much at home!! Had an interesting first night, acting as security for Rachael's 18th only 2 fights (Good effort Rambo + Tim!!)

4. Noosa

Made the trip to Australia Zoo, made famous by the late Steve Irwin. Saw lots of crocs, tigers, wombats, snakes etc.. See photos. Weather started to pick up with a couple of hot days! Worked out in a playground - no kids there at the time! Had a nice sunbathe on the beach..

5. Hervey Bay/Fraser Island

Had the evening in Hervey bay, worked out on the beachside running trail, played some tennis and had some fish and chips! Good times! Early start in the morning for Fraser Island - sorted out all our shopping and alcohol then i jumped in the driver's seat andgot teh 11 of us onto the island in the 4WD van! Had some close scrapes with getting stuck in the sand, broke the reverse gear, had awesome weather and an even better group of people - probably the best part of travelling so far! Seems like a mix of UK, Canadians and especially Dutch make for great times!!

6. Cattle Station, Kroombit

Spent the afternoon and morning on a working cattle station. Really funny time - learnt how to crack whips, herd goats, lasso things and got to ride a mechanical bull! They fed us really well :) Here was the beginning of Team G.O.A.T. comprising of me, Matt and Alex - pretty much undefeatable in all events!

7. Airlie Beach/Whitsundays

Literally just got back form our sailing trip for a couple of days. Really good fun, again made a lot better by a great group of guys, big up the Swedish and German crews!! Again - awesome food, good views, and the odd cup (box) of goon! :D Did well with the weather as well, helped to top up the tan :)

I think thats just about it for now, gotta try not to have so much fun otherwise it'll be a long time til the next blog!! haha
