DInner last night was a hoot! Salih's father and I drank Raka, the Turkish equivalent of Pernod, an after dinner drink that tastes like licorice. Its mixed half and half with water and turns milky white when the water is added. At some point during the evening, he pointed at me and held up two fingers to indicate the number of Rakas I had consumed, then pointed to himself with pride and held up five fingers! Even though we had no understanding of each other's language, I understood the universal sign that I am a p**** for not keeping up with him.

I am sure he went to bed last night thinking he was the better man. Hopefully tonight I'll introduce him to Bombay Sapphire gin and regain the family reputation.

We awoke to sunshine. It's HOT! Everyone is eating breakfast at the restaurant or laying around the pools at their villas. Very pleasant!

Everyone went down the hill from our villa to the cabanas next to the Mediterranean. I stayed at the villa to swimIp in the infinity pool. Carey and Haris due in this afternoon as well as Stacey.

Everyone taking the night off tonight. I think people are a little tired at this point. Tomorrow is the big day. The Wedding is at 6:00 pm.
