Val Sounds like you picked lovely accommodation, great location & managed to snag a GF resto close by! I truly appreciate your laundry process…that’s what we would do!!! TOSS everything down & hold onto the railing to prevent falling
Glynis You would have enjoyed the restaurant, Val, for sure! Our spiral staircase in the apartment was lovely to look at - but the fact that its steps were the same lovely dark wood as the floors made it even more difficult to navigate - especially at the bottom. The final curve of the bottom 2 steps were something that we both misjudged a few times …holding the rail was very important!

Glynis Alhambra is an amazing complex, Val - there are still lots of bus tours - but great to know that at least at this important site numbers are now being limited. I’m way behind on my blog and home…and no worries as that wee barra still recognizes us…hope you do too!
re: The Alhambra and goodbye GranadaVal Glad you enjoyed visiting the Alhambra (albeit expensive). We were there a long time ago on an organized bus tour so no problems gaining entrance & more importantly….not climbing or hiking up hills When are you two wanderers coming home? The wee barra won’t remember her GG & Pops

re: Granada, SpainGlynis It was a good decision, Val :). We were tired afterwards! The theatre is amazing - not the largest, but the fact that it was built into the hill and is still surrounded by some apartments in the neighbourhood. Thanks for reading Val - always appreciate your comments as well xo
re: Cartagena, SpainVal Great Pics & I would definitely take the elevator after all the walking & exploring.
re: Cartagena, SpainGlynis Thanks Margo - hope you do…but you’re actually reading last years blog even though he title says 2024. I change it every year. re: Murcia, SpainGlynis The chocolates were very good Linda! So happy that by pure chance we were there for the changing of the guard ceremony…it was great to see. I’m not sure that many visitors to Lisbon know about it as the crowd wasn’t that big and mostly all Portuguese. Thanks for supporting my blog-ing efforts x
